Advanced Emergency Procedures Course

We present to you the Advanced Emergency Procedures (PNP) refresher course that every helicopter pilot should take.
With this course, you will not only master unpleasant in-flight emergency situations, but also get used to the helicopter perfectly.
Thanks to this, you will be able to react in time and above all correctly to any situation that arises.
We conduct this course exclusively on Robinson R44 and MD500 helicopters.

Course content

  • 20 flight hours on the Robinson R44
  • 20 hours of flight instructor
  • Theory, pre-flight and flight briefings

Entry requirements for the course

  • Valid PPL(H), CPL(H) or ATPL(H)
  • Valid Certificate of medical fitness of at least 2nd class
  • Valid type qualification for the Robinson R44 or MD500 helicopter (possibility of obtaining a type qualification with us as well)

Practical part of the training

It begins by reviewing the basics and verifying the pilot's skill level and flying technique.
You can also look forward to:

  • Advanced autorotation in any flight mode
  • Advanced autorotations with exact budget for the specified location
  • Advanced autorotations with full landing without power recovery
  • Take-offs/Landings with insufficient left pedal backup (Anti-torque pedal)
  • Landing with loss of tail rotor thrust in various flight modes
  • Landing with a locked pedal
  • and much more...

Theoretical part of the training

The course includes pre-flight briefings, where you and the instructor discuss and explain the flight exercise in detail.
After the flight, there is a debriefing, where you and the instructor discuss the entire part of the flight.

The final part of the training

After completing the course you will definitely feel a big difference in confidence behind the helicopter cycle and you should be able to perform an autorotation with a full landing without power recovery.
The course does not include a final skill test and you will be issued a certificate.
